During a media scrum today at Starrcast, WrestleZone got to speak to Hangman Adam Page about comparisons to legendary wrestlers such as Barry Windham. Hangman admitted that while he is honored, he’s more concerned about being pleased with his output than he is about living up to a legacy of the past:
“You know, it’s funny that that might be a bigger deal for like fans than it is for me,” he reveals. “I didn’t necessarily grow up watching Windham. I just do my thing. I do my thing the way I want to do my thing and what people have to say about it is on them. I’m happy that I have the time and the the the opportunity to do things the way I want to do them. What people take out of them, that’s cool. Whatever comparisons make you happy, that’s cool. But, you know, it’s just me being me.”
