Chaos continues to surround the WWE 24/7 Championship. During a match between the Revival and the Lucha House Party, WWE 24/7 Champion R-Truth ran to the ring and he was chased by all his challengers. The referee threw out the match, the Revival teamed up on Truth and pinned him to win the title. Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder became the first co-champions in the history of the WWE 24/7 Championship. But, thanks to the interference of Carmella, Truth regained the title. He retreated backstage, where Elias destroyed him by breaking a guitar over his head. Elias pinned Truth to become the new WWE 24/7 Champion.
