In a post to his Twitter, former WWE and WCW wrestler and current IMPACT Producer Lance Storm will be shutting down his wrestling academy after fifteen years in operation. Opening in 2005 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, the Storm Wrestling Academy has trained stars wrestling the world over, including Tyler Breeze, Peyton Royce, Oney Lorcan, Emma, and Taya Valkerie.
In the announcement, Lance said that he found his time as a trainer “very rewarding.” He’s happy that his graduates are performing “virtually everywhere” and making “a positive impact on this industry.”

He notes that he is still accepting a few pupils for his last session, which starts on September 9th, and that the academy will close by the end of 2019. As for Lance himself, he’s not done with wrestling quite yet.
I will announce my plans for the future at a later date but rest assured Lance Storm is not done with the wrestling industry. It is just time for me to once again redirect my life and wrestling career.
