Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer is reporting today that Lucha Underground star King Cuerno is heading to NXT and the WWE Performance Center in September of this year. Meltzer also reports that internally there are a few additional ‘big names’ that are expected to sign with WWE soon.
Regarding Cuerno, he has a strong ability to speak English which was said to be a huge reason why they have been targeting him for awhile now. His strong work ethic is another big reason why he has garnered so much interest. He had been trapped into a Lucha Underground contract for awhile now and is just now able to get free of it.
Cuerno would join Ricochet and Rey Mysterio as other performers who spent time in Lucha Underground and WWE. What do you think of this potential signing for WWE? Comment below and let us know.
