SmackDown Live featured plenty of 24/7 title hijinks. Early on the show, a blonde wig wearing R-Truth asked Carmella for help in keeping his newly won 24/7 title. She agreed after telling her partner about the actual rules of the belt, which Truth had some confusion on.

Carmella then proceeded to give Truth a makeover that would make Ru Paul proud and even gave him a bra to wear.

R-Truth then wound up accompanying Carmella out to the ring for her match against Mandy Rose. The match was abruptly ended after The B-Team and other members of the roster tried to attack and pin Truth.

The pair ran backstage and tried to hide in the women’s locker room, but Truth was quickly kicked out of there. Jinder Mahal eventually caught up to him and tried to get a quick pin, but Truth managed to run away before getting taken out by the B-Team. However, the tag team couldn’t decide who should get to pin him and squandered their chance.
