With AEW’s Double or Nothing coming soon, it seems that WWE could have their first proper competition in quite a while. However, they’re not the only company making moves in early 2019. MLW has slowly but surely been gaining traction with big events and a weekly TV show that now airs in Great Britain and Ireland as well as Canada.
According to a report by PWInsider, the company is growing past its more humble roots. After having operated out of a “virtual office” for several years, MLW management is now moving to Steiner Sports Collectibles HQ in New Rochelle, NY. Minutes away from New York City and Stamford, CT, the building will house corporate offices as well as provide space for filming podcasts and other video content for the promotion.
There’s also talk that MLW may put on a PPV later this year as well as tour the UK and Europe in support of MLW Fusion’s airings across the pond. MLW has sold out every who they’ve promoted in 2019 so far, including two New York City show that just recently reached capacity. They’ll be participating alongside Impact and AAA in an event on May 2.
