There was no fooling around on April Fool’s Day when it came to major announcements from Starrcast II. Five names were announced yesterday to appear at the upcoming Memorial Day weekend wrestling extravaganza and two of those names are Cris Cyborg and Kurt Angle. The Starrcast Events Twitter handle handled the Cyborg reveal while Cody Rhodes broke the Angle news a few hours later.
This Superstarr is a multi-time MMA Featherweight Champion. She’s a black belt in Muay Thai and is one of the top fighters in the world!#Starrcast II is proud to welcome @criscyborg to Las Vegas, Memorial Day Weekend!

Angle apparently won’t be resting in retirement for long after WrestleMania as The Olympic Hero will make his way to Las Vegas to partake in the festivities that Conrad Thompson and his team have organized.
Much ado was made about The Undertaker being announced for Starrcast II back in February and this Angle reveal certainly packs a punch on par with The Deadman considering he’ll be fresh off his WWE send-off. Also announced to attend the event was “The Million Dollar” Man Ted DiBiase, recent WWE Hall Of Famer Inductee Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake and Psicosis.
