If the artist formerly known as Enzo Amore releases an album and nobody listens (except me, apparently), did it really happen? That’s a theoretical question being asked now as the numbers are in and nZo’s debut album, Rosemary’s Baby Pt. 1: Happy Birthday, is a flop. Spotify, which is the most popular music streaming platform, has its play numbers publicly available, and they show that eight of the 13 tracks have gained less than 2,500 views since it was released. It also failed to chart sales-wise, which means that it sold less than 10,000 copies (although that was never really in doubt).
The only tracks to be above the 2,500 plays mark are the first five songs, which show that listeners bounced from the album after being largely unimpressed. The most played track is “Liv a 30 for 30,” which references his failed relationship with Liv Morgan, and pulled in nearly 6,000 views. After that, the numbers drop off substantially.
Things aren’t much better on YouTube either. The majority of the songs have less than 2,000 views, and “Top Notch” only has 973 at the time of writing. However, “Liv a 30 for 30” did get some buzz and managed to do 16,000 views on the video sharing site. That’s more than most of the tracks combined.
So, it doesn’t look like his stunt at Survivor Series resulted in listeners. Who knows, though. Maybe most Enzo fans are TIDAL subscribers.
