Hulk Hogan Opens WWE Crown Jewel

WWE welcomed back Hulk Hogan at today’s Saudi Arabian Crown Jewel pay-per-view. Hogan makes his long-anticipated WWE return after being released by the company in 2015 due to racist remarks he made while being unknowingly recorded for a sex tape. The WWE removed Hogan from its Hall of Fame, only to reinstate him this past July.

The WWE Hall of Famer opened the show wearing his traditional red & yellow garb, along with a yellow feather boa, a red bandana, and a sleeveless Hulkamania shirt. As Hogan made his way to the ring, WWE’s announce team hyped Hogan as having held the WWE Championship for four years & Renee Young noticed that Hogan’s, “Still got it.”

As Hogan entered the ring as the Crown Jewel’s official host, the crowd roared and chanted, “Hogan! Hogan! Hogan!” A jubilant Hogan replied, “It feels so good to be out here in front of the whole WWE Universe.” Hogan continued, “The Power of Hulkamania & the power of my Hulkamaniacs are stronger than ever right here at the Crown Jewel.” Hogan added, “It’s great to see you guys. It’s awesome to be back here in the WWE. It’s unbelievable to be your host tonight.”

Hogan then announced the start of the show before making his exit for the opening match of the World Cup Tournament: Rey Mysterio vs Randy Orton. Stay with WrestleZone for live coverage throughout the show.
