History was made at EVOLVE 114 when NXT stars The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) and Fabian Aichner came away with tag team and singles championships, respectively.
The Street Profits Win The EVOLVE Tag Team Titles
The event in Ybor City, Fla. had an influx of NXT names involved in the show in preparation of a longterm angle between NXT and EVOLVE. The Street Profits won the EVOLVE Tag Team Championship after defeating The Doom Patrol of Chris Dickinson and Jaka. The match built on a war of words between the two teams on social media, with Dawkins and Ford calling out the then champions on various NXT live events. The Street Profits will pull off the victory following a Frog Splash by Ford onto Jaka.

Fabian Aichner Becomes EVOLVE Champion
Another major title change that happened on tonight’s show was Fabian Aichner securing the EVOLVE Championship, defeating Shane Strickland in an open challenge. Aichner, a perennial role player on the NXT roster, is given an incredible opportunity to showcase himself in the independent scene to complement a top-heavy roster on the developmental brand. As champion, he will appear on the remaining shows on 2018, including events in Detroit (Nov. 9) and Chicago (Nov. 10).
